Spend Less Time Traveling
For our customers that don’t want to travel long days to have a wonderful student trip that is both educational and an experience of a lifetime. Chicago is the answer. We have planned many three to five day trips to the “Windy City”.
Chicago has lots to experience whether we are eating at different ethnic areas, seeing some of the most famous museums in the world, or experiencing some of the best shopping your will hearts desires.
Museums & More
Many of our designed tours begin with planning which of the famous museums we want to visit first. We have the options of:
- the Field Museum
- Science and Industry Museum
- Adler’s Planetarium
- Shed Aquarium
- Famous Art Museum
We could spend days just going museum to museum without even spending time sightseeing.
Explore Diverse Cultures
Second, we could choose which ethnic village to visit. We could walk the streets of Pilsen, Chicago’s own Mexican village; visit the National Museum of Mexican Art. We would feel like we just visited Mexico. A short 10 minutes traveling in our bus we could be in the Greek Village and sample some authentic Greek food, (Saganaki, Taramosalata Dip or their tastily dessert Baklava. These foods are delicious or we could have famous deep dish pizza by the slice.
Other Fun Activities
Chicago is loaded with exciting events on the beautiful lakeshore; in addition we could visit the “Bean” at Millennium Park for a photo moment. The Zoo is free to visit and a great outside event. We could cap our evening with a ride by elevator to the top of the Willis Tower, formerly called the Sears Tower at twilight. The view is terrific!!!
As you can see, Ready Travel can plan a great trip to Chicago and we would be less than 6 hours from home from most cities in our area. Travel time would be short and more time would be available for any of the great events that Chicago has to offer. After a busy day, we can choose one of many, many hotels in the Chicagoland. We can stay in the city or stay on the belt line. Whatever your budget can afford.
